I don't know, if Trent Reznor could rent the Tate house to record The Downward Spiral, someone's gonna buy a home where some no one was killed at

Trent Reznor: Leader/principle mastermind of Nine Inch Nails
Tate house: The house where actress Sharon Tate was murdered, while 8 months pregnant, by the Manson Family.
The Downward Spiral: Album often considered the eptiome of Nine Inch Nails' music.

The Downward Spiral is the greatest album ever recorded and you need to go buy it.

Before any music snobs start jumping out of the goddamn woods on top of me it was the first well known and extremely popular album I could think of.

It's a good album too. In the top 100 I'd say. But I don't know...Exile on Mainstreet is probably my choice for greatest album ever.

And to celebrate page 666, some of my favorite politically minded METAL!

SOAD might be metal, perhaps, but Rage is almost definitely not.

I would say they are. There's really no other classification for those riffs. They're not really punk, though there is a punk element, nor are they alternative in either the REM/Replacements mold or the grunge mold.

He has a great point though, that for how much Republicans like to throw around the specter of 9/11 that it's pretty reprehensible for them that for them to vote against a bill granting health care to those that risked their safety to help on that day.

I'm genuinely surprised that the legislation didn't pass. I woulda figured anything involving the benefit of 9/11 first responders would get near unanimous votes. Except for Ron Paul, he's a dick.

I think Republicans, as Weiner says, are more concerned with trying to fuck Obama over than doing the right thing.

To which I say it's been 2 years. Get off the fucking cross and use the wood to build a bridge.

I agree that it was great to see the guy ripping into the Republicans, Mike, but your post was unintentionally hilarious.
