This is the thread for discussing Cassandra Cain, once known as Batgirl. Other discussion includes the current Batgirl title (starring Stephanie Brown; also discussed in the Batman thread), as well as the Teen Titans and other young heroes. The reason that this thread is so large and at the top of the forum, however, is because it is home to Casstoons. EspanolBot, the artist of the series, has switched from sprites to a hand-drawn style that he will be using for an upcoming Casstoons project linked to the main site. If anyone wishes to continue creating Casstoons in the traditional sprite format, those image files are available under the following hide tags (divided by letters). If possible, characters are sorted under codename, not real name--so for Barry Allen, you would go to F and find Flash (Barry Allen). Other characters may have additional information in parentheses--for instance, Admiral Ackbar from Star Wars will be listed as Admiral Ackbar (Star Wars).

I just wanted to make sure that there was actually a mention in the Cass thread itself. I had this little image in my head of you guys going there next Wednesday, only to find the forum locked and everybody else gone.

That probably would have happened it you didn't inform us.

And great, now I have to remember this URL for when I get to school tommorow! *sigh*

I think you just medium'ed why Jaap is currently sleeping with a big smile on his face...

The forumcircle URL was very easy to remember. Much easier than oSD's URL...Invisionfree hasn't been convenient that way in years. But you just have to remember "110mb" instead of "forumcircle", and if there's really a problem you could email it to yourself...or just get the link from nSD until you remember this one.

I like that picture a lot. It's got a real ambient feel to it. Plus I like the reference to her plant, which was another tragic death when Bludhaven went boom...

You could always mail the URL to yourself, so then when you get to school you could open up your email and click the link. It's always worked for me. (Shane beat me to it. Damn)

And yes, Shane, thanks for the update. I've have been like, "ANOTHER HACK?! GODDAMMIT!"

I actually think it's pretty cool. There are a few spots where it could be better, but all-in-all, I think it's a pretty good representation of how her costume used to be (the colors seem slightly off, but that could just be because I'm used to that costume being printed in lesser quality...nowadays, it may have had that vibrance). Thank you for showing me, though!

And let's face it, I'd probably buy it even if it was crap. I mean, I have all three of her Heroclix figures, even though there is no noticeable difference other than the stats (well...one of them is named Icemaiden instead of Ice...), and I don't play Heroclix, so those don't matter.


Because I am, duhhh.

Man, I really don't like that costume on Tora.
